摘要：A primary suspension spring disposed between a wheel journal and a railwaytruck side frame includes top and bottom elastomeric members which form a ring aroundthe journal. Both members include a relatively large cut-away portion towards theircenters to provide soft vertical and longitudinal spring rates for a car body. Relativelysmall amounts of elastomeric material are disposed longitudinally towards the front andrear of the large cut-away portions towards the tangents of the wheel journal.
