摘要：A method for the identification of genes involved in neurodegenerativeprocesses, detectable by the late onset of a phenotype associated with

neurodegeneration, by means of a genetic screen of deregulated genes, which comprisesthe measurement of sleep-wake cycle activity schemes in different stages of life, youngand adult, of individuals of an animal model, such as Drosophila. A mutant fly whosegenome comprises a disruption in its enabled gene, with decrease of the enabled geneexpression, and exhibiting a late onset neurodegenerative phenotype in adulthood.
