Operation Comparison of Auto。_Cascade Refrigeration and Two。_Stage Compression R efrigeration with Single Machine ZHANG Jincui,ZHAO Youxin,ZHENG Shuxi,LI Yuan,TANG Haojie (Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Institute,Qingdao University,Qingdao 266071,China) Abstract:In order to know which one has better efficiency,for an auto—cascade refrigeration system and a two—stage compression with single machine refrigeration system,under the condition of the evaporation temperature downing to一40℃or below.this research introduces the working principles and characteris— tics of auto——cascade refrigeration systems and two——stage compression with single machine refrigeration sys—— tems.And it gives an experimental study at the same operation condition about cooling rate、cooling capaci— ty、consumed power and coefficient of performance for two cycle modes respectively.The results show that the cooling rate、cooling capacity、consumed power and coefficient of performance of the auto—cascade refrig— eration system are superior to those of the two—stage compression with single machine refrigeration system with the decrease of evaporation temperature(The evaporation temperature is between一40~一6O℃). And auto—cascade refrigeration system has the properties of smaller consumed power、higher efficiency、 simple structure and small volume.So auto—cascade refrigeration system has better efficiency.It can be widely used for the miniature refrigeration equipment with low temperature.
