摘要：The respiration aid consists of an inhalation branch (2) linked at its intake end toa gas pressure source (1) and at its outlet end to the breathing passages of the patient. Ithas first (9) and second (3) exhalation valves which are closed during the inhalation phase,and a detector (10) for the patient's respiratory activity, transmitting data to a control

unit (12). The control unit governs the flow of gas so that the inhalation branch receives aflow during the exhalation phase which is more or less equal to the flow delivered at theend of the preceding inhalation phase. The respiration aid incorporates a secondpressurised gas source (4) and a distributor (8) in the form of an electrically-operatedvalve, while the detector is in the form of a pressure sensor.
