Interview about Charlotte’s Web

The main plot of the original book, seriously have nothings with Fein. She saved Wilbur, raised him like her baby, spoke to him and even sleep with him. But soon she grows up, find new friend and date with a boy called Henry. She had her new life and move on from her pet friends.

Since it is a novel, it’s ok to be smooth which make it more amiable and real. But Hollywood movie remand more active heroine that all the audience can buy the ticket rather than throw their popcorn and say “we are not coming to see a spider”. However, only slinking paste a post on her uncle’s doorway seems no help to the fact.

As for the miracle of Charlotte and Wilbur, it was in fact sensationalism about a small pig rise to fame overnight in the view of us adults. Of course, there must be something dirty in fairy tales or high metaphorical. But we don’t need to investigate this article any further. We had been removed in our childhood and don’t mind lasting this feeling until now.

The most unpleasant thing was the sermon at the end of the movie. ” (because of miracle happened on Wilbur) something has changed in Somerset County. It was as if people knew they lived in a special place now. And in small ways, they started being special people, a little bit kinder, a bit more understanding.”——how can

they be more understanding and kinder? Do not eat pork anymore? That is so hypocrisy.

We live in a cruel world, somebody can live on only relay on friends and lucks, just like Wilbur, but some are not. Since Wilbur won the pedal and save his life, another pig has to be killed for Christmas dinner of Fein’s uncle family. This could not be called as change; it was called to lay the sin at other pigs. Of course you can say, this is a children’s story and we cannot avoid lies and sermon. But I do remember in the original book haven’t try to change the world by one only pig and one only spider. Old whiter was such a clever that he knew a lot of things no need to be motioned and we can finally find it by ourselves when we grow up.

And the only mildness we can find from this movie is a great friendship can create miracle. The questions of this movie:

1) Where is the husband of charlotte? When did she eat him? 2) Wilbur is a hog, right?
