摘要：Hydraulic fluid level verifying method involves using a transmitter to transmit awave for propagating without a physical medium. A receiver is on the movable portion to
receive transmitted wave after the transmitted wave is reflected on a mechanical partsecured to the movable portion. A theoretical level of hydraulic fluid is deduced in theshock absorber from a measured characteristic of the wave. An independent claim is alsoincluded for an airplane undercarriage with a shock absorber having portions that areslidably movable relative to each other.
