摘要：Disclosed is an instrument for measuring living body components, which has (i) afine tube (1) having at one end thereof a connection portion (13) to be connected to anindwelling needle (2) or indwelling catheter and an infusion portion (14), from which atleast a blood anticoagulant solution can be infused, (ii) a fine linear sensor (3) formeasuring living body components, extended from the interior of the fine tube to theoutside through the connection portion (13), and (iii) a mechanism (4, 8, 9) for introducingblood at least into the interior of a fine tube portion of the indwelling needle (2) orcatheter intermittently or periodically when the indwelling needle (2) or catheter isconnected to the fine tube (1) and kept in the blood vessel, and then discharging bloodinto the blood vessel (43). A sensing portion (31) of the sensor (3) is located within thefine tube portion (21) of the indwelling needle (2) or catheter when the indwelling needleor catheter is connected to the connection portion (13) of the fine tube (1).
