2. The important sentences: ① I fill a jar with water. ② I turn the jar upside down. ③ I think the floor will get wet. ④ I’m sure the floor won’t get wet. ⑤ We can prove who’s right.

⑥ We’ll do the experiment and observe what will happen. Learning important and difficult points: 1. get的用法及短语。

What experiments have you done?” Step 2. Learning

Learn the new words. Read after the teacher.

Step 3. Listening

Listen to the tape carefully with following questions:

1. Why does Danny say they should do this experiment outside?

2. What’s Brian’s theory? 3. What will Brian do?

4. Does will have the same theory as Brian’s? Step 4. Reading and learning

Learning aims:

Talk about “Do you like science?”

“Will the force of air keep the water in the jar?” Step 4. Listening

Have the students to the tape and see if they can answer this question: Why will Danny dry himself?

Step 5. Reading

Read in groups, and find out the Simple Future Tense. I will tell them my theory. That will be funny. Step 6. Writing
