怎么解决青少年沉迷网络问题(英文版)

With the rapid development of the Internet, the fact that more and more teenage become addicted to Internet has posed a serious social problem. A recent research suggests that half of the children in the cities started to surf the Internet in the age of 8 and 75% of teenagers go to sleep with a mobile phone, a panel computer or a notebook PC. Teenagers’ addiction to Internet not only does harm to their health and study but also lead to crime, which is harmful to society.

To solve this problem, the most direct way may be to keep children away from computer and mobile phone. By doing this, children will have no access to Internet, not to mention becoming addicted to it. However, computer and mobile phone are also convenient ways to study and communication. If we cut children off the Internet, they will have difficulty in understanding the fast developing world.

Another way of solving this problem is that we can limit children’s access to Internet. For example, government should strengthen the management of Internet bars and close the bars that let teenagers in. School should pay more attention to the control of computer in a computer class. Parents should make some rules on their children’s use of Internet, such as only using it to study from Monday to Sunday and surfing the Internet in the weekend only in the company of parents and for a limited time.

The most useful way is to help children have more colorful life. Teenagers become obsessive with Internet because they have few hobbies, do badly in their study or get on badly with their classmates and can only get pleasure in the unreal world created by the Internet. So, we can help children to have more hobbies to

occupy themselves. When they have difficulty in study, parents should encourage them to try to do their best. Teachers should design more interesting activities to help every students get along well with others. Only leading a positive and colorful life can teenagers become resistant to Internet addition.
