摘要：An apparatus for the cleaning the water in a vessel (1) of a nuclear powerreactor, wherein at least one, but preferably several apertures are formed in a partition(14) across a downcomer (15) of the reactor vessel. Each of said apertures communicateswith a respective cleaning means (19) for cleaning of a partial flow of the reactor vesselwater driven, by means of the pressure difference across the partition (14), through thecleaning means (19) in a flow direction (21) counter to the flow direction (29) of the maincirculation flow from a low pressure portion (13) to a high pressure portion (18) of thereactor vessel (1) by means of main circulation pumps (25, 27). This cleaning action of thecleaner is to separate contaminating particles from the reactor vessel water which areinadvertently introduced into the water both during normal operation of the nuclearpower reactor and during outage and service thereof.
