摘要：A device and method for retrieving a fish or other animal or object attached to aline includes a tube having a flexible wall extending between a distal end portion and aproximal end portion. The tube wall defines a tube aperture aligned with a central
longitudinal axis, and includes a first longitudinal edge and a second opposedlongitudinal edge, where at least one of the longitudinal edges is flexibly movablerelative to the opposed longitudinal edge. The first and second longitudinal edgesselectively define a tube passageway for receiving the line. A funnel having a flexible walldefining a funnel aperture is connected to the distal end portion of the tube, wherein thefunnel aperture is aligned with the tube aperture along the central longitudinal axis. Aplurality of fish retention members is positioned in the tube aperture and accommodatesunidirectional passage of the fish through the tube for retrieval thereof. In an alternativepreferred embodiment a tubular member includes a plurality of inwardly biased fishretention members formed monolithically therewith, and a flared distal end portionwhich is monolithic with the tubular member. One, two or more rows of such retentionmembers may be provided. While four (4) fish retention members are preferred in eachrow, any number may be provided. Preferably two rows of four (4) retention membersare provided.
