A House for Everyone
Do you like helping people? Then you would have liked Jane Addams.
Jane Addams wanted to help everyone. She especially wanted to help poor people. She decided to make a place that would do just that. She started Hull House in 1889.

Moving out, moving back
In the countries all over the world, people are leaving the countryside in huge numbers to find jobs in the cities.
