摘要：An angiographic syringe (18) for use with an angiographic injector having aninjector portion for housing at least one syringe (18) in readiness for injection, mountingmeans for supporting said syringe (18) in said injector portion, said mounting meanshaving alignment means, actuating means for effecting said injection, and engagementmeans disposed on said actuating means for engaging said syringe (18). The syringe (18)further comprises a tubular body (22) having an outwardly extending flange (32) at oneend thereof, a plunger (38-1) slidably positioned within said tubular body (22) for forcingcontrast media therefrom, and guide means (26, 30) for cooperating with said alignmentmeans of said mounting means for guiding said syringe (18) into a predeterminedposition in said mounting means. Said plunger (38-1) includes gripping means (38b) tocooperate with said engagement means and designed to facilitate engagement anddisengagement therewith.
