摘要：In a primary-cell of the type in which a cathode or anode increases its apparentvolume as the discharge proceeds, thereby absorbing the electrolyte, at least between acell enclosure which serves as one of the terminals of the primary-cell or top closure andthe cathode or anode electrically connected thereto is interposed a spacer whichcontains electrolyte, is electrically conductive and reduces its apparent volume when thepressure is applied thereto, thereby squeezing the electrolyte out of it.
