至此，很多设备没有提供Windows XP Professional X64 Edition相关的驱动。但是，很多驱动我们可以借用Vista相应的64位版本的设备驱动。比如ADI SoundMax声卡驱动，我们可以双击该驱动程序以解压Vista的驱动到C:\\Drivers\\vista\\AMD64\\VISTA；然后在设备管理器中选择黄色警示的“Audio Device on High Definition Audio Bus”设备，选择手动指定安装其驱动到C:\\Drivers\\vista\\AMD64\\VISTA中以强制安装；安装完成之后，你就可以听到声音；这个时候重新启动系统，将会弹出出错对话框“The version of AudioESP is not intended for this Operating System”，你只需要把它关掉，然后在开始/运行菜单中执行“MSCONFIG”，在启动选项中剔除smax4pnp的选项，之后重新系统就不再有类似的弹出报错，而声卡可以正常的工作。

类似的，双击驱动将会解压到C:\\DRIVERS\\HDAMODEM，直接到C:\\Drivers\\HDAMODEM\\WINVISTA64中执行Setup64.exe，指定安装直至该驱动安装完成。

Download and uncompress the driver to directory as

C:\\DRIVERS\\WIN\\Turbodis, and then select the unknown memory device in the devices management to assign the driver path to C:\\DRIVERS\\WIN\\Turbodis and click next to install the reserved driver for Intel Turbo Memory for future use.

下载上边的连接所指的驱动程序，并在命令行中执行如上黑斜体所示的命令以解压该驱动程序到c:\\Drivers\\Atmel中。此时，可以在设备管理器中看到标有\"未知设备 on Intel(R) ICH8M-e LPC Interface Controller - 2811\"类似的设备，指定其驱动安装位置为C:\\DRIVERS\\Atmel\emp\\并进行安装即可。

Select SATA in AHCI mode in BIOS and boot, the Windows System will prompt that there is some unknown device found, you could assign its driver path to the driver uncompress directory as C:\\DRIVERS\\WIN\\IMSM64 and click next to install, it will be recognized and will implement the AHCI mode.

在BIOS里将SATA HDD的模式从兼容模式改成AHCI模式并启动系统，此时系统会提示发现新硬件。此时，直接将其驱动指定在C:\\DRIVERS\\WIN\\IMSM64中进行安装，就可以正常安装AHCI的驱动并工作在AHCI的模式。
