这是一个现在完成时态的一般疑问句式。现在完成时是表示过去发生的动作或存在的状态对现在造成的结果或影响。其构成是:助动词have/has+动词的过去分词。

我学习英语已经六年了。

析:loud既可作形容词,也可作副词;loudly与aloud作副词时同义。

②say与speak,talk和tell的辨析:

speak强调说话的能力,作及物动词时,一般后跟表示语言的名词或副词。而作不及物动词时,后面一般跟介词to。

talk后跟介词to或with,表示“与„„交谈”。后跟介词about,表示所谈论的内容。

tell强调“告诉、讲述”,一般用作及物动词。

(1)Having 动名词用作表语。 (2)Eat 祈使句,用动词原形开头。

①understand v.懂,了解 A good teacher must understand children.

②too,very,so辨析:三个词都是副词,可放在形容词和副词前加强程度。

too本身隐含了一种否定意义;而very和so只表示程度,具有肯定意义。

be afraid of后可跟名词或动名

USING DICTIONARIES使用字典

Dictionaries are useful learning tools,but many English words have different meanings and usages.We need to make sure that the definitions we find in dictionaries match the context.

字典是很有用的学习工具,但是很多的英语单词有不同的意思和用单数。

①listen to听

②native speakers说本族语的人

③make up v.弥补,虚构,缝制,整理,和解,编辑,化妆,补足,拼凑

④most adj.最多的,大部分的 ⑤表示“帮某人做某事”,可以用:

help sb.to do sth. 或help sb.do sth.。

Please help the kids to swim. =Please help the kids swim. 请帮孩子们游泳。

假如要表示在某事上帮助某人,则用:

help sb.with+n./v.-ing的形式。

think of可以表示想起来,也可以表示认为。

①deal with“对付,应付,

法。我们需要确信我们在字典中发现的注解能够和文章相符。

instead of的意思是“取代,而不是”,相当于介词,用在名词、代词或介词短语前。

He’ll go to Italy instead of France. 他要去意大利而不是法国。

3a Look at the words from 1b again.Check (√) the words that were used differently from the definition you found in the dictionary. 再看一下1b中的单词,把与你在字典中发现的注释不同的单词用√标出。

3b Look up the following words in a dictionary.Write out the example given for the context used used in the rading.
