英语作文,给汤姆写一封电子邮件

Dear Tom,

Hi! It's me, your friend from school. I have so much to tell you about what's been happening lately. Things have been pretty crazy around here!

First of all, did you hear about the big field trip we're going on next week? The whole 4th grade is going to the science museum downtown. I'm super excited because I love learning about science, especially anything to do with space or dinosaurs. Mrs. Wilson said we might even get to go to the planetarium and see a show about the solar system. How cool would that be?! Speaking of Mrs. Wilson, you'll never believe what happened in class the other day. We were learning about fractions, which I've always had a hard time with. I just can't seem to wrap my brain around what 3/4 or 1/2 actually means. Anyway, Mrs. Wilson was going over some examples on the board when Danny raised his hand. You know how Danny can be - always goofing around and cracking jokes. Well, he asked Mrs. Wilson in a really serious voice, \"If there are 10 kids in our class and you brought in 20 cookies, what fraction of a cookie would each kid get?\" Mrs. Wilson just stared at him for a second, and then the

whole class burst out laughing! Even Mrs. Wilson had to laugh at that one. Danny sure knows how to lighten the mood.

Oh, and get this - did I tell you that Billy got a puppy? It's the cutest little golden retriever you've ever seen. He named it Rufus, though I'm not sure why. Anyway, Billy brought Rufus to show-and-tell last Friday. Everything was going fine until Rufus decided he needed to go potty...right in the middle of the classroom! You can imagine the chaos that caused. Kids were screaming and running around, trying to get away from Rufus's mess. Poor Mrs. Johnson had to stop everything so the janitor could come clean it up. I felt so bad for Billy - his face was as red as a tomato. He's definitely going to think twice before bringing Rufus for show-and-tell again!

Believe it or not, that's not even the craziest thing that's happened lately. You'll never guess who got into a fight at recess last week - Suzy and Emma! Those two are like best friends, so I never would have seen it coming. From what I heard, they got into an argument because Suzy accidentally stepped on the jump rope they were using. Harsh words were exchanged, and the next thing you know, they were pulling each other's hair and rolling around on the ground! It took Mr. Rodriguez and Ms. Baker to finally break them up. Now they're not allowed to play

together at recess for two whole weeks. Can you imagine? I sure hope they make up soon because they're both so much fun to hang around when they're not fighting.

In other news, I'm getting super excited for the big kickball tournament coming up next month. Our class is fielding a team, and I was chosen as one of the kickers! I've been practicing my kicks every day after school. My older brother has been helping me by rolling the ball for me to kick in our backyard. I'm determined to help our team win this year after we got second place last year. Just you wait and see - the Tigers are going to dominate!

Wow, I didn't realize how much I had to fill you in on until I started writing this email! I feel like I could go on forever about all the crazy stuff happening at school these days. Let me know if you want to hear anything else. Write back soon and tell me what's new with you! Your friend, [Your name]
